Smooth, creamy and delicious this healthy salted caramel smoothie is like a dessert and a breakfast all in one! Vegan, Dairy Free, Paleo and Refined Sugar Free.

This smoothie is somewhere between a dessert (think salted caramel icecream) or a decadent drink or breakfast.. yet it is full of healthy ingredients and contains no refined sugar.

If you are like me and a big fan of all things salted caramel (what’s not to love really?) then I think you will enjoy this creamy drink.

This smoothie is the bomb as it is filling, delicious and creamy……it is full of goodness with the addition of nutritious tahini and naturally sweetened with mineral rich dates.

If you are looking to curb your salty/sweet cravings and find yourself reaching for ice cream or chocolate then try reaching for this smoothie instead!

What you need to make this smoothie:

Just a few simple ingredients……

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup of almond milk
  • 2-3 dates
  • 1 Tbsp tahini
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Sea Salt

How to make this Salted Caramel Smoothie…….

It really is super easy!

  1. You can use dried dates or medjool dates. If you are using dried dates and you don’t have a strong blender you may need to soak them in warm water first for 10 minutes to soften.
  2. Simply pop all of the ingredients into a high speed blender and blitz until smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste and add more salt if desired.
  4. Pour into a glass.
  5. Top with an extra sprinkle of sea salt and cinnamon.
